We invite all retired and practising teachers and lecturers, graduates, professionals and other suitable persons to apply to register with Clevedon Tutorials.

• Registration is free and there is no obligation to accept any tuition that is offered.
• Fixed lesson fees quoted to client (no VAT charged either to pupils or tutors)
• Tutoring your own specialist subject(s)
• Arrangements to suit (no minimum number of hours)
• Pupils will not be from the same educational establishment in which you are working

Our work is mainly one to one in the pupil's home, or occasionally in the tutor's home. The work is often in addition to the work done at school, college or university.

Some of this home tutoring is for long term support and encouragement and some for specific help with revision and examination preparation.

We appreciate that travelling is expensive and time consuming, therefore our policy is to introduce clients that are close to the tutor's home.

We ask you for details of the subjects you wish to offer and to what level, your qualifications and experience, two references, and a copy of a current CRB disclosure.

How does it work?

When a suitable enquiry comes in we take details, contact you the tutor to discuss the requirements, then pass you the contact details for the client.
You then work directly to them, keeping us informed via monthly timesheets or as appropriate. Each month you send us a fee of £5 for each hour worked, along with your timesheet..
